Welcome to the Autumn Term

28 August 2012

Summer is over, Schools are starting to get ready for young people to go back but on the plus side, so are we. Our regular Scout meetings are about to start up again after the summer break. Week in, week out we have over 140 Scouts aged between 6-14 meeting at our Headquarters. Lots have been happening over the summer; the Scouts have just come back from a week’s camp down in Essex along with 9000 other Scouts and Guides, also, our front building has insulation put in and should be a lot warmer in the water months.

Having looked at the programmes from each section has planned this term it looks like it’s going to be a fun filled term of activities yet again! We will see our young people go to the Police Station for a visit, going on camps, earning badges, lots of investitures, cooking, making things plus many more activities. We’re excited and looking forward to this term and we hope the Scouts are too!
