Beavers Explorer and Experiment

29 August 2013

On 28th June we held a Sleepover at Nanpantan HQ for 23 Beavers.

On Saturday morning we were visited by a friendly alien who needed help. His spaceship had crashed and was was broken so he asked us to help him get back to his home planet. To do this the Beavers created flying machines, designed and tested rocket fuels and built a new space rocket launch tower.

On Saturday afternoon we also visited the Aeropark at East Midlands Airport to see the aircraft exhibits and watch planes take off and land. We were also lucky enough to see the Rolls-Royce owned Spitfire take off and give us a flypast!

All these challenges and activities earned the Beavers their Experiment and Explore activity badges.
