Scouts explored the Lake District

Just because it’s the summer holidays doesn’t mean that Scouting stops. A number of our Scouts spent a week up in the Lake District camping on the shores of Lake Windermere at Great Towers, a campsite run by the Scout Association. Leaving on Monday morning, they travelled in a minibus to the campsite where they had to pitch their tents.

The Scouts had an action packed week of Sailing:

Caving:

Scrambling (where one of our Scouts was invested):

and a day on the beech.

Arriving back on the Saturday, all the Scouts had happy faces but it was clear that they had a tiring week.
