Jamboree On The Internet

This year, we will be taking part in the 56th  Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) over 19th – 20th October. JOTI is the only event that can connect Scouts across from all over the world by using the internet on the same weekend. Using Scout severs we can talk to other Scouts from different corners of the globe.

St Georges Day Parade

Cub Teddy Camp

Another successful Teddy Camp.  18 tired, grubby, well-fed and happy cubs left the Nanpantan HQ after our one night hut camp with 9th Loughborough.
The cubs learned scouting skills such as fire-lighting (in the snow!), knotting and map-reading. They also took home hand-made souvenirs – a necker for Teddy, a decorated cake, Teddy bookmark and a bag to put it  all in.

Science Museum

Both our Cub Packs joined 212 other Cubs from Loughborough on 4 coaches and headed off down to London to visit the Science Museum. In total there were over 1200 Cubs from Leicestershire but the Museum seemed to cope very well. The Cubs learnt a lot about Energy, Space etc. They even got to try some hands on Science in …
