Splash Camp 2013

A number of our Scouts attended Splash Camp over the weekend of 20-22nd September. A number of water based activities were on offer for Scouts to try including Canoeing, Sailing, Bell Boating. Take a look at the video to see what they got up to here:

Jamboree On The Internet

This year, we will be taking part in the 56th  Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) over 19th – 20th October. JOTI is the only event that can connect Scouts across from all over the world by using the internet on the same weekend. Using Scout severs we can talk to other Scouts from different corners of the globe.

Scouts explored the Lake District

Just because it’s the summer holidays doesn’t mean that Scouting stops. A number of our Scouts spent a week up in the Lake District camping on the shores of Lake Windermere at Great Towers, a campsite run by the Scout Association.
